This Hebrew text is not the work of any single translator, organization, or project. It draws on — and in places directly incorporates — Hebrew renderings of the Book of Mormon produced independently over more than a century, by different hands, for different reasons, none of them aware they were working toward this. What follows is a synthesis, not a translation from scratch: an effort to gather what already existed in Hebrew, weigh it against the source text, and assemble it into a single readable edition.
