הספר ראה אור בישראל על ידי מכון מחקר העת העתיקה.

מכון מחקר העת העתיקה פועל ללא תלות בכל כנסייה, דת או כת ואינו מבקש להמיר את הדת של שום אדם ושום עם. מטרתו היא הפצת כתב הקודש של ספר מורמון לעם ולארץ שבהם נולד.

התרגום העברי של ספר מורמון הושלם בשנים 2018–2024 בידי צוות של ארבעה לשונאים ישראלים מקצועיים. מרביתו של החומר לספר מבוסס בעיקר על מהדורת ספר מורמון באנגלית מ־1830, תוך הסתמכות מסוימת על מהדורת 1920.

The Institute of Ancient Studies operates independent of any church, religion, or sect and does not seek to persuade any person or people to another religion. Rather, it seeks to disseminate the sacred scripture of the Book of Mormon to the people and land of its inception.

The Hebrew translation of the Book of Mormon was completed in the years 2018–2024 by a team of four professional Israeli linguists. The work's core material is based primarily on the 1830 English edition of the Book of Mormon with some reliance on the 1920 edition.
